The West Los Angeles Animal Shelter has these things on their wish list, if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated.  You may request a receipt for tax donation purposes. 

Ongoing needs:

Your time - call 213-485-8542 to become a volunteer

Monetary Donations (you'll get a charitable receipt)

Food - dog or cat, wet or dry - open kibble ok as long as still good. Sample bags of foods are needed to send home with adoptions. 

Your old pet calendars

Newspapers (for lining cat cages)

Blankets. towels, sheets, pillowcases, miscellaneous linens

Treats

Collars and Leashes

Pet food bowls

Grooming brushes

Pet shampoos and flea powders

Chew toys

Tennis balls and washable toys

Nylabones and Roarhides

Cardboard boxes, Cat size

Crates/Transportation carriers

Bandanas and Scarves

Heat Lamps and other reptile equipment

Seagrass mats for rabbits

Woodstove pellets for rabbit litter

White Vinegar for cleaning

Donations may be dropped off at the shelter at:

On south east corner of Bundy Drive and Missouri, north of Olympic Blvd. (Between Olympic Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd). 

Hours: 8am to 5pm, Tuesday through Saturday, Closed Sunday and Monday.
